Mr SO Yu Fai of University of Hong Kong was awarded the 2014 - 2015 Prize for his essay on “Screening for lung cancer: A review of the current evidence of possible application in the Hong Kong setting".


Ms YIP Wai Ying Stefanie of University of Hong Kong was awarded the Prize for her essay on “The health implications that lurk behind snoring”.

Ms TANG Esther of The Chinese University of Hong Kong was awarded the Prize for her essay on "Is Hong Kong healthcare system prepared to deal with infectious epidemics?"


Mr HO Cheuk Bong of University of Hong Kong was awarded the Prize for his essay on “Treatment of EGFR mutated advanced NSCLC: current problems and future solutions”.

Mr KWAN Pok Man Edwin of The Chinese University of Hong Kong was awarded the Prize for his essay on "Current understanding of high altitude sickness".


The prize went to Ms WONG Ka Ming of The Chinese Universiy of Hong Kong. The title of her essay was "Management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease".

The Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, has nominated Mr. Tsang Cheuk Ho for this year's American College of Chest Physicians Prize of HK$1000. The title of his essay was "Targeted Therapy for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer".

The Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong, has approved the recommendation of the Examining Committee that the American College of Chest Physicians Prize 2008/09 be awarded to Miss Wong Sean Man Natalie, an MBBS III student. Miss Wong's essay was entitled "Amiodarone-induced Thyrotoxicosis and its Related Haemodynamic Changes".



Mr Koljonen Paul Aarne of University of Hong Kong had been awarded the ACCP Prize for Medical Student in 2007 for his essay on “Asthma in Hong Kong: A Review on Disease Burden and Management Strategies.”
